Information about meningococcal ACWY vaccine

As you know, there are currently two brands of the meningococcal ACWY vaccine in circulation for National Immunisation Schedule use - Menactra (in a 5-dose pack with slightly different packaging than what you are used to), and MenQuadfi, which will soon become the long-term replacement for Menactra.

It is expected stock of MenQuadfi will become more readily available between now and 1 March, so over the coming weeks, your local Propharma branch may have one or both of these options available.

Please note: MenQuadfi can be given at the same time as other National Immunisation Schedule vaccines including Tdap vaccines. There are no issues with this combination, or other NIS vaccines.
