COVID-19 information for staff

Staff: COVID-19 testing

PCR testing for staff with respiratory symptoms has stopped.

If you are unwell, please RAT.

You can order RATs directly from the Ministry of Health at requestrats.covid19.health.nz

You do not need to be symptomatic to order RATs. 

If you are symptomatic, or you are a household contact of a positive case, please follow the instructions below:

If you develop COVID-19 symptoms:

Note:

1. if you have a positive RAT, please send the result to occupationalhealth@bopdhb.govt.nz so it can be added to your lab results on your medical record.
2. complete the required national notification as detailed here How to report your RAT results | Unite against COVID-19 (covid19.govt.nz)

If you have a family or household member with confirmed COVID-19:

Emails to IEEMT@bopdhb.govt.nz will receive an auto reply with links to the staff testing guidance flowchart and the Ministry of Health portal.

If you contact the IEEMT phone, the answerphone message will guide you to the staff testing flowchart and the Ministry portal.
