RMO positions (Registrars, SHOs, House Officers)

The national RMO year changes annually on the 3rd Monday in January (house officers) and the 1st Monday in February (registrars).

Covering two hospital sites, Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty employs 205 RMOs – 180 FTE in Tauranga and 25 FTE in Whakatāne covering specialties including Anaesthetics, Surgery, Orthopaedics, O & G, Paediatrics, General Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, Palliative Care, Psychiatry, Urology, ENT and Emergency.
